In Bloom

I thought I would share some beauty products I picked up today. I have been so uninspired by nail colours lately. I wish I could just make all of my own! I mix colours together but it only ever makes enough for that one time. I'm talking about making my own and having a bottle full of it. Maybe I should write to O.P.I and tell them what colours I have in mind and where they are in fact going wrong with their colour selections. Haa.

So anyway, I found another Bloom colour from the same range as my "barcelona" one. You know the fluro pink I have been wearing? The purple one I have on in the bottom photo is just as awesome and bright as it. It is called "Charlie". What makes it even better though is David Jones are currently giving away a little Bloom goodie bag along with any Bloom purchase. So along with my "Big Apple red" and "Charlie", I scored a free make up bag (not featured), an eye lasher curler, Mascara and a lip gloss.

I am normally pretty dismissive of free goodies as it's normally pretty crappy things involved or the colours that they give you are just horrible and not even your 85 year old Grandma would wear it to your brother's wedding. But, I am pretty damn stoked. I have been meaning to replace my curler for months and I was out to buy a mascara anyway.

1. "Got A Date To-knight", By OPI. 
It is such a soft pink. Really pretty on. My only complaint is I wish It was a little thicker.
2."Black Shatter", by OPI.
I finally caved and bought the "shatter" nail polish everyone has been blogging/talking about. It gives a very cool effect.
3"Rapi Dry Top Coat", by OPI
I swear by this. It reall does what the name suggest. Pretty amazing stuff.

All is love

Consumerism this. I'd be blogging and working in the wrong industry if i worried about consumerism. I celebrate Valentine's Day. Any excuse to give and receive gifts has a big red tick from me. Here are a couple of my pressies from my boy. The hat was a joint present for each other- as we both love a good hat. We made a few things for one another too..Plus i got an owl card. My fav!

Obsession

An obsession with nail polish leads to always wanting more of it. Maybe it's now an unhealthy obsession.  Ahhh.

First off i am speechless as i just stumbled across the O.P.I animal print nails. My questions have been answered, in the form of pre-cut nail art. Amen. What is it you may say? It's a breakthrough array of pre-cut nail patches. O. P. I you are ingenious. I know this range is going to be loved by all. They are so cheap, oh and the fact you no longer have to try and do this yourself. So no more tedious hours working on a cool design and then realising it looks crap anyway or budging it only moments after you finish your last nail!
