My beauty secrets

Okay, so today I thought I would part with some of my best kept secrets. These products are seriously those ones that you know are too good to be true so you want to keep all their benefits to yourself. If I did that, it would be so very selfish of me, because this stuff works wonders. And trust me, I have tried every possible product under the sun.

What I use Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) for:  ACV is a natural treatment - It helps your skin function optimally, warding off bacteria and shedding dead skin cells at the proper rate, so pores are unblocked and skin remains healthy.  I use it how I would use any toner, except I dilute it with water. I love that ACV doesn't have any nasty chemicals in it. My opinion for store bought toners now is "If I can't pronounce the name of the chemical, then I probably shouldn't be using it on my skin".

Since using ACV my skin is so much softer and if a pimple comes up it's gone the next day! Win, win! The oiliness in my T-zone has been significantly reduced, pores have become smaller and blackheads are now few and far between. So if you're looking for a cheap at home solution to naughty skin problems, ACV is the way to go.

My advice to you: 1)Buy any brand you feel comfortable buying, 2) Dilute with water, you can then make it stronger or weaker depending on how it feels. I normally make it pretty strong, 3) Apply like you would any toner, 4) It will sting at first but you will be okay, 5) Trial it for 10 days before making a judgement. You skin generally takes a little bit of time to get used to new things. 6) It does smell, but you will get used to it and once it has dried you can't smell it anymore.

What I use Rosehip oil for: Rehydrate my skin. It basically replaces my moisturiser. It gets deep inside, instead of resting right on the surface like most of my moisturisers do. I've only been using it for a month or so, and I am happy so far!

My advice to you: Use it lightly. You don't need heaps!!!

I hope this has been helpful! Have you used this before? Share some of your secrets in the comment form, I'd love to hear them!
