Christmas Holidays

Packing is one of the funnest yet hardest things to do. I never know what to pack when I go away. I usually never plan outfits 'til just before I get dressed in the morning. How I dress reflects my mood for that day - so when I'm away for two and a half weeks, it's near impossible to think up outfits for that entire time. No wonder my luggage is always busting at the seams.

Here's some of the things I packed.

1. Element Eden handbag courtesy of Element Eden team and Vintage clutch
2. Note pad, book and KW jewellery
3. Sportsgirl overnight bag to pack all GHD, make-up and other bits and pieces in to keep it separate from my clothes, vintage necklace and House of Harlow sunglasses
4. Leopard belt via General Pants, Black belt via Myer, Paw Paw, Nail polish and a few rings
5. Bettina Liano shorts (how cute is the scalloped hem) MinkPink Raglan, Wrangler shirt and Element Tee courtesy of Element Eden. This is just a couple of things. So much more was packed! Ha ha.

I may not be able to post as reg as I'd like - but I will have a lot of photos to share when I get back!

Spring road trip

I find it very hard to narrow down the clothes I choose to go away with. Even though I have taken photos of "what I am packing", I bet when It comes down to it, I won't pack some of it and I'll find something else I'd prefer to take...Or, I will pack this and much, much more. (lucky we're not flying this time)

I CAN NOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW AND THE NEXT TEN DAYS! We've downloaded all our tunes, camera is charged, I'm off to buy us some essential road trip snacks today, we're not booking any accommodation and we're ready to cruise! Bring it on!

When we get back, it's all systems go for the store and for my new blog layout. So get pumped - we sure are.

Photo diary August

1.HI GUYS! As you know we had our 4 year anniversary on Thursday! We went away to Coffs Harbor for a few nights - here are some happy snaps for you to look at!

2. Coffs Harbor Jetty. Beautiful sunset. Day before the horrible rain set in! 

3. Driving past the so called "Big Banana". It's really not that big. We re-named it "The Dilapidated Banana", it is so faded and the entire place is so run down.

4. Quick photo while we were driving! No idea where it is or what it is.

5. One of the antique shops we stopped at on the way. They're super rad. If you have a chance to venture down to Coffs Harbor be sure to stop at the little vintage stores along the way! We bought a really cool piece of art on the way home today. I wanted it on the way down but wasn't sure whether to get it or not - thought I'd wait til the way back!

6. So many bits of furniture I wanted! Especially this hatstand/ mirror, sadly we didn't have room in the car.

8. Vintage bits and pieces. I was in vintage heaven - but like so many vintage/ antique stores in small country towns it was WAY over priced!

9. This photo was taken at this weird little town called "New Italy"- Super strange scenery and they were playing Italian music really loud. We made the joke "What's it gonna be guys New Italy or New South Wales"...

10. Second breakfast at this really cute cafe on the jetty at Coffs. We finally got some sunshine today after the dismal rain yesterday! It rained ALL day yesterday, but we still had such a fun time!

13. We absolutely loved our apartment we stayed at. Perfect location, self contained and brand new! Can't wait to go back there!

15. See how faded the sign is? Hence why we gave it the new name. We also noticed that The Big Banana has a love for grocer's apostrophes. One springs to mind "If caught shoplifting be sure to smile for our camera's"

18. Lucky last photo. But trust me there's way more on my computer...You got off lightly. This is a church in the town of "Broadwater". They're currently fixing it up - but it caught my eye because of how rustic and rundown it looks. They should keep it this way.

Faraway beach - photo diary

We had a whirlwind trip away to the Central Coast to see my parents, my sister and her boyfriend and little nieces. It was a weekend filled with so many laughs, massages, facials, wine, coffee, more wine, more coffee, lots of food and a toasty wood fire. When my family gets together we're guaranteed giggles galore and lots of performances from my 6 year old niece -  usually involving a lot of musical instruments played very loudly. Ha ha.

It was so nice to see everyone! Missing them all already! It was perfect weather the entire time we were down there - but it was soooo bloody cold compared to Queensland. I had more pics, but a lot of them have my nieces in them - and I don't want to put them on my blog for privacy reasons.

On the way back to Sydney we stopped in at Zara in the city quickly - but we had to make a flight home so we didn't have ample time to shop. We're gonna save that for our Sydney trip in August.

Arrrgh, blogging withdrawals!!!

I have so many photos and stories to share with you all. But right now I am enjoying just relaxing. I thought I would post a couple of shots- I know it's not much but It is something.... These are from breakfast the morning of my birthday!

I have had the best time of my life the past few days! Holidays are the best things EVER! Such a whirlwind trip, but totally worth it! We wish we could be on a constant holiday, that would be the life.
