Florals

Florals are fast becoming a regular print in my wardrobe! If you had have asked me a year or two ago if i'd wear them all the time I would have said no as I felt too girly and prissy when I wore them. If I did wear floral prints I had to team them with something "grungey".  Now I love feeling polished. And I love wearing a dress and heels or tailored pants, structured top and heels.

I picked up these heels today. I was looking for some heels to wear to my brother wedding. It's a vintage wedding and it's on property so stilettos would have got me weeding rather than walking. These floral wedges are absolutely perfect for the occasion. I didn't go shopping with a set idea as I knew I'd look past something beautiful if I had a particular colour in mind. These were so cheap too, as Steve Madden had a 25% sale today!! Love a bargain!

Hope you've all had an awesome weekend!

sail to the moon

Firstly: HAPPY EASTER! I know it's Easter Moday, but I still want to wish you all a Happidity Easter. Have you all totally chilled out the past few days? I sure have. It has been absolutely amazing. I have eaten way too much chocolate as well. I never thought that could be possible - ever.  I have spent the last few days bike riding, at the beach, eating out, having a massive family feast last night and relaxing with awesome company. I could not have asked for a better Easter. My only little complaint is I wish I could have made it home to see the parents! But that will have to been another holiday in the near future!

(Vintage skirt, Supre top, Steve Madden boots, Karen Walker Necklace and Earrings, Ebay Skarf/Belt)

I picked this skirt up for $2 from a Op-shop sale two weekends ago. Amazing right?  I love the khaki colouring, the material and the way it skims the top of my ankle boots - any longer and my boots would have been totally hidden. I have an inkling that it was hand made originally as well, as the sewing is delicate and doesn't look like it has been machined.

I will be back to posting every day again so make sure you're following Unknown Pleasures daily.

PS: Time off from the daily grind has motivated me more than ever. Without giving anything away, I want to let you know some exciting things will be happening soon. So keep posted!!

A flame for freedom

To mix things up I thought I'd shoot two outfits I absolutely dig at the moment. I didn't take into consideration the softness of the soil and grass for stiletto heeled boots, so because of that you can't see the two different styles of boots I wore- which is a down right shame!! You may recognise the style of dress from the East of Grey shoot I did a few months. I loved it so much Kim made me one for my birthday!

Do you recognise the location? We braved going back out west to the abandoned house because we both absolutely love the rows of trees and the light that peeks through the branches.

What I am wearing

Outfit one: Red tights H&M, Electric zombie tee, nixon watch, Mimco bracelet, Ebay boots, asst jewellery
Outfit two: East of Grey dress, Steve Madden boots, Nixon watch, Mimco bracelet, asst jewellery

Have an awesome weekend!
